Bodie Ghost Town Visit
In October 2020 I paid a visit to my parents, and decided to take the scenic route. ON the route was Bodie State Historic Park. AKA Bodie Ghost Town. You have to take a right onto small 2 lane road CA-270 from US-395. This two lane road turns into a dirt road and you arrive at Bodie State Historic Park. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. The park opens at 9am, arrive early and you can have the whole place nearly to yourself. Like I did.
It is the remnants of an abandoned gold town, that was home to nearly 10,000 people at one point. It looks as if you travel in time and see it as it was when the last person left.
